At Staining Primary, we value Art as an important part of the children’s curriculum. Our Art curriculum provides children with the opportunities to develop and extend their skills and the chance to express their own personal interests, thoughts and ideas. Art, craft and design allow for the children to be creative. We engage, inspire and challenge all children, giving them the skills and knowledge needed to experiment in a safe environment. We believe that our Art curriculum should encourage children to appreciate and evaluate all pieces of art work. During their time at here, children will learn about a diverse range of artists, including those from many different cultures and periods in history where they will develop a rich understanding of many forms of art.
