At Staining Primary School, we believe that a quality Computing curriculum should allow children to become masters of technology. In the modern world, technology is everywhere and children are accessing it at an increasingly young age. We aim to prepare children for this technology-focused world through a broad curriculum of computer science, digital literacy and information technology balanced with opportunities for children to apply their knowledge and skills in a positive, responsible and safe manner. By Upper Key Stage 2, our hope is that children have the independence and confidence to choose the best tool to fulfil tasks and challenges set by teachers or met in everyday life.
