History
At Staining Primary School, we aim to provide a History curriculum that develops our children’s curiosity and understanding of the world around them. We want our children to develop an understanding of the past and how it has shaped the world we live in today, as well as the impact it has on their own lives. We understand and value the importance of History and its ability to develop children’s enquiry skills, which are transferable across other curriculum areas. We want the children to make link between different historical eras and think critically about concepts. We hope to help our children to take a keen interest in History that they will carry across their educational life.
